In July 2015, the investment options were revised and investors can
choose from the following:

Acquisition of property for a total value equal to or above
€500,000, or -
Acquisition of property for a total value equal to or above €350,000 for properties more than 30 years old or located in urban regeneration areas designated for refurbishing, or

Acquisition of property fitting any of the above requirements with a 20% reduction on the minimum amount of investment, if purchased in a low density population area (€280,000 or €400,000).

refurbishment, applicants are qualified for Portugal’s Golden Visa.

3. The start up visa
Program for immigrants who, individually or in a maximum group of 5, intend to develop an innovative project in Portugal, automatically getting a residence visa or residence permit.The program requires the entering into of an incubation contract with anincubator entity, previously approved and certified by IAPMEI, PortugueseAgency for Competitiveness and Innovation, according to technical, administrative and financial criteria, which will receive the entrepreneur and support the development of his Startup.
WHO CAN APPLY

Entrepreneurs who wish to develop their entrepreneurial and / or innovative project in Portugal, even if they have not set up a company

Entrepreneurs who already have business in the origin countries (in a starting phase, created less than 4 years ago) and intend to move their activity to Portugal, evidencing to have the potential to create at least 5 jobs within 24 months;
-
executive functions in the company and / or a capital participation in the act of constitution or voting right, of at least 10%; a positive net result in the company's last fiscal year accounts.
